Hello! Just catching up on your news, I haven’t read in a while. Hope your boat is OK now after its encounter with a ferry. You must be on the home straight now, mum tells me you’ll be back in a couple of weeks!
All is well in my new flat - it’s almost tidy, and still lacking a bookcase although the man from Ikea will remedy this soon.
Looking forward to seeing you on your return to the cold, harsh North!

Perhaps I won’t tell Rosie that a ferry crashed into the yacht, now that she’s getting into the winding down for the holiday phase. If you need anything reading and interpreting, my best friend is Greek/British, so she may be able to help out. Her motto is ‘don’t do business with Greeks’, by the way. Have fun all together over the next two weeks - looking forward to some good yarns when they get back!

I read your words and watch the blue tits eating the birdseed that I leave in the birdhouse for them each morning.
Nicholas is about to move into his new residence in Cardiff.
Michael is about to leave home for the nth time.
June is enjoying her newly furbished sitting room.
I am festering slowly but nevertheless comfortably in my cell.
We are going to Venice on 21 September.
We hope that your journey continues without any serious inconveniences and that you eventually return home happy and unbloodied.
